A romantic and heartwarming holiday novella from USA Today bestselling author Ali Brady.

This year, Christmas and Hanukkah come together–and for two neighbors stranded in a snowstorm, one magical night could change everything.

(Run Time: 2:23)

Please note: While this may seem like a Hallmark movie set-up, it does contain SPICY content. Listener discretion is advised so please gift thoughtfully. (In other words, Grandma better be real cool.)

Jack had big plans for Christmas: fly home to see the family he misses like crazy, eat his weight in holiday cookies and enjoy plenty of forced-family fun in matching pajamas. Instead, a record-breaking snowstorm leaves him stranded alone in Chicago.
Meanwhile, Nessa’s Hanukkah plans were…nonexistent. With her roommates off on their own adventures and her family busy elsewhere, she was ready to spend the holiday binge-watching TV alone.

When a power outage takes things from bad to worse, the two neighbors join forces to help each other find the holiday cheer they’ve both lost. As they attempt to make latkes out of whatever ingredients they can scrounge up, and stuff each other’s stockings with improvised gifts, the two stumble upon the unexpected joy of blending their own holiday traditions into something entirely new.

While the storm rages outside, sparks begin to fly between Jack and Nessa. But will the magic they found last beyond this one special night?

A perfect holiday novella with perfect narration

This was the cutest, sweetest and easiest 5 STARS to give. I listened to this whole story while I wrapped gifts on Christmas Eve. I enjoyed this the whole way through. SO many heartwarming moments as well as a slow burn, tense filled steamy one that satisfied 100%. It's a light-hearted romcom that delivers giggles, blushes and heart clutching moments.

Such a delightful way to blend two winter holidays together. There's history & background as well as family traditions that were so fun to learn & listen about.

Jack & Nessa, two neighbors, get stuck in a Chicago snowstorm & end up spending the holiday together learning about each other & their winter holiday family traditions and along the way, they find love in each other. A game of "Strip Dreidel," pretty much solidifies this!😉

🎧Let's talk narration...when you've got TWO PROS like Julia and Teddy, there's no doubt you're in for a treat! Two of my all-time favorites, these guys make this quick holiday novella worth EVERY second of your time! Jack is beaten down & tired, missing his family & rethinking his life decision about his residency in pediatric medicine but he's also adorable, good looking, thoughtful & flirty. Teddy gives it ALL to you & you're so down for Jack. He'd be anybody's choice for love! Julia always delivers with all the emotion, quick wit & sensitivity Nessa embodies. I can't recommend this one enough. The story itself is just so warm & cozy and it is definitely going in my annual holiday listens every year from now on.
